“Our family had a wonderful stay at the Boulder Retreat! The location was peaceful, and we spent time on the pier, boating, fishing, and around the campfire. We saw deer, bald eagles, loons and cranes. A true Northwoods location! Only a short drive into Boulder where you can shop or dine out. The house was very well maintained with new appliances and our family of 6 adults and 2 children fit comfortably. It was well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed Cooper Peak and the waterfalls of the Black River which were just a short drive away. There was an issue with the heat, but Nannette was on top of it right away.
