“We didn’t spend much time here. It was good enough for sleeping. The room had a smell to it and there was some things in the bathroom walls that needed to be fixed, but overall the staff was friendly, and it was a decent stay. ”

“I loved that they provided dishes and everything was very clean. Is the bathroom a little dated? Yes, but they take such good care of it and the cleanliness was awesome. “It was a good stay, 45 min from Estes park. It was an economical option, they offer breakfast in which I didn’t partake. The king bed was nice and comfortable. Easy parking and convenient. Good staff, friendly and gave great assistance. The only items that would have made life easier would be a working laundry room (under repair) and the front automatic door working (under repair). Overall, I was very satisfied.”

“Beds were horrid. People across the hall were smoking weed. I did let the front desk know, and they took care of it. For the most part staff was great, except for the 2nd day there the morning staff was not helpful at all when we asked about getting more towels. ”

“My family lived The Blue Door in for its convenient location to the RMNP entrances. The room was clean, bright, spacious with comfortable beds, coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. Parking right outside the door and 2 large windows, one of which looked out to the big grassy area (Mountain View) and adorable little chipmunks running from burrow to burrow. Quite entertaining! “I was super pleasantly surprised with this rustic gem on the river. The place was loved, cared for, and stocked good. I didnt get check in email but they responded right away when i messaged them on hotels.com and we checked in fine. Parking was plenty and it felt private and not snooty...there was rustic charm...my kind of place. It was just perfect to me. ”
