“The lobby is outdated but the rooms are nice. The elevator is ancient but works, buttons don’t respond on 1st push. The room and bathroom are nice, clean and comfortable but the bathroom had some mold in the caulk. The woman whi checked me out was very friendly and professional. Overall good stay!”

“Had to run water for a half hour to 1 hour to get it clear. Nobody ever in the office had to call them to check in and check out. I had to empty my own trash and call them to get trash bags. ”

“I loved the homey feeling the hotel gave, we absolutely loved the self serve hot drinks and although it could definitely get better by having clean pools I loved it ! ”

“The house was clean and well organized. There are plenty of extras. Chairs, multiple fire pits, plenty of wood, paddle boards and kayaks, it was a great stay would definitely recommend it.”

“The house is very nice, bright and pretty comfortable.If you have a dog or small child, you probably want to bring a large gate for the stairwell. It is wide and hard and goes straight down to the basement/rec room.Our problem was the temperature in the house was 52 degrees when we got there about 6 p.m. I called the first local number for Vacasa and left a message. I waited for someone to call back. Then, I called the second number, left a message and waited for a call back. Finally, I called……

“We stayed during MLK weekend. It was a perfect halfway place between the ski mountain and Richmond. The views are unbelievable. The house was well stocked and super clean.The only thing they need is another bathroom lol for a large group of people ”

“We had a nice weekend away at this property: plenty of space for our family of four + our dog. Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked for cooking and dining. Cozy space for a long weekend. Only negative was that the hot tub wasn’t working and we weren’t told before arriving that it hadn’t been working for several weeks. Also, be aware that the steps to and from the lake are steep and are not accessible for someone who has trouble walking. The water can be accessed though by driving……
