“Guesthouse was very much as shown: community spaces for bathrooms and cooking etc. and the location was great, very close to Akaka Falls yet outside of town enough to enjoy slowing down. Found great shaved ice at the Aloha General Store. We stayed in the king bed room, which was clean and mostly comfortable, but gets baked in the sun from sunrise. The room was very hot and could use a ceiling fan, the small one provided barely worked to cool the large room… and having the windows open meant……

“A beautiful location on the big island; peaceful and relaxing. Well decorated and comfortable furnishings. Kitchen is well supplied with cooking utensils, etc. All that you need for a great stay. Very responsive property manager. Well located to great places on the island for more active activities such as hiking, sight seeing, horseback riding. All in all a great find! ”

“We had a wonderful stay; a great host and very welcoming. The scenery is breathtaking and serine, perfectly nestled within the trees. The front porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee and a good book. You’re a short distance away from downtown Hilo, hiking trails, waterfalls and a clear night sky.
