“We stayed for 5 nights. The house is lovely, clean, very well equipped. There are thoughtful additions like coolers and ice packs, beach towels, aloe for sunburn! The location is quiet and furnished tastefully, beds also v comfortable. We loved driving all over and seeing the island. If you don’t like driving a lot there isn’t much activity in the immediate neighborhood. ”

“All wonderful except for entering the home which wasnot clearly outlined in your communications: *0423 DID NOTOPEN ANY DOORS - finally we were allowed to enter with additional information about keys! after 45 minutes and an equal amount of mosquito bites. Sad Welcome ........”

“Spent 4 nights as a family of 4 during our spring break in March. Nice to have room to spreadout (teens each had a room and parents had the ohana room). We appreciated the games/reading material and a fully stocked kitchen (complete with spices to use!) Especially happy with the cooler weather (in 50s each morning and night) and the pheasants/turkey/peacocks that visited the yard. Beautiful view, very calming and quiet neighborhood. The hill provides quite the morning workout!”

“Amazing property with great views. We loved sitting on the 2nd floor deck and listening to the birds. We had been given an AWD suv with poor tread on the front tires and it was not able to make it up the driveway. The driveway has a pretty good slope and a significant amount of moss on the ground. The day we arrived our car hit the moss and the tires started spinning. Again, I'm not saying this was all due to the driveway. Long story short, the car was stuck on the driveway and the rental……

“We visited Hawaii for the first time this summer for my parent's 60th Anniversary. There were 11 of us in total at the house and we could not have made a better choice. There was plenty of space for everyone ( ok sometimes the teenage girls spent too much time in the bathrooms) and the surroundings were perfect. We loved meals on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Air hockey was fun to play. The amazing soothing sounds of the coqui frogs at night led to peaceful sleep,(earplugs were available if……

“Excellent location to be close enough to Hilo and the surrounding area without giving up any privacy. Great house with a perfect pool for the kids. We felt safe and secure the whole time with the gated entrances. Would stay here again - super peaceful!”
