But if you want to make a multi-day walking trip there it is hard to find places to stay that are spaced through the region. This spot in Blanchardville made a perfect stop. The room was comfortable, quiet, spacious, and perfectly clean. And the town, though small, has good restaurants, bars, and coffee places, a grocery store, and a great spot to soak tired feet in the Pecatonica River. Ray, the host, was……

“Charm, town accessibility, COWS! We couldn’t have asked for better during our stay! First and foremost the hosts took it above and beyond when we anxiously called them after getting a “shelter in place” alert on our phones due to weather and tornado’s. Without question they helped us with a plan to get access to the basement if we needed to, which from the two anxious mom’s with littles in the house it couldn’t have been more reassuring. Having kiddos with us aged 2,4, and 7 the house is about……
