“The property is well maintained and provided everything we needed. The town has very limited dining options and is declining. If you are staying in Hot Sulphur Springs, I recommend this motel. It isn't fancy but it provides the necessities. ”

“As adult ski bums, we tried out 4 Winter Park inns under $200/night in this season. Viking Lodge is our favorite and the least expensive. It is an old lodge and exactly what they advertise: a very basic room with private bath and a refrigerator. If you can enjoy an old fashioned ski lodge, this is a perfect place. (If you need glamour and upscale, this is not your place.) The room was very comfortable with lots of extra pillows. There is no breakfast (same as 2 of the other lodges we stayed……

“Built in 1875 so it’s rustic. Our room was clean and comfortable. We chose it because it’s right downtown, it’s a great location for exploring the city.”

“We had a great time at the property and the host was super helpful. The only thing I would say is be mindful of the sleeping situation— we had 3 couples staying, and one of the bedrooms has a full size bed which isn’t very conducive to 3 couples staying there.”
