“Darla and Josh at the front desk were very friendly. Very attentive with help printing passes and local travel tips. Locals who grew up in Bend . The hotel was extremely clean , one of the tidiest we’ve visited . And that stands out today among other declining properties . Location is convenient walking distance to the River , shops , Hayden Homes , Deschutes Brewery and more ”

“I gave a 3 star rating for a previous stay because of being in rm 101, next to the noisy stairwell. This time, Rm 102, had no issues. So, which room you have matters. On the eco issue, the hotel tries, but people have no concept of recycling, so it all turns out a waste. A people problem, not the hotel.”

“It was amazing except for the hot water issue, but they let me check out late so that was badass! I grew up in Bend, 37 years, im so thankful the shilo is still what it is! Crystal the front desk girl was hella friendly and i could tell she felt bad about the hot water thing. ”
