“Overall, we were happy with our stay. Our room and the property itself was clean. Aside from the person who checked us in every other person we interacted with for staff was great. Person who checked us in didn’t even acknowledge us with the hello or a smile, simply said license and credit card when we were checking in and used that information to confirm my name on the reservation. “We stayed here to ride our bikes on the presidential rail trail in Gorham and float on the Saco. North Conway is a great place to be close to nature and still be near restaurants and necessities. The Golden Gables was located in a spot that is easy to get in and out of. The grounds and pool were refreshing after spending the day bike riding. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet at night. We were on the first floor so we could house our bikes at night. It was a great value. ”
