“Desk clerks both check in and check out were top notch. Room was decent. Biggest issues were the bathroom was dirty, had bugs and someone's used soap out, my room was poolside and the screaming and music went on well past 10 pm and while this isn't on the facility there was apparently some parties going on because I had drunks bounce off my door a few times.”

“Awesome secluded place to stay. Very cozy and clean. I am very glad we brought our “camping bin” however that has a lot of supplies, like utensils, paper plates, pan, spatula etc. We cooked all our meals on the grill. The kitchenette is nice but very small. The only sink is in the bathroom. Great access to the Tail of the Dragon (25 min drive) which was the reason for our trip. If you bring a trailer DO NOT try and take it to your cabin. Park outside the gate”

“Description of the property was accurate, it is truly breathtaking. Property is new, approximately 1 year old with high end finishes.Indoor and outdoor spaces are great for entertaining, and the river is literally steps from the deck. Location is ideal for a short drive to Nantahala Lake, Bryson City and Robbinsville.Communication with the owner and check/in was flawless. 5Stars”

“Great renovation of the old Thunder Mountain. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Plenty of parking space with locking entrance. Plenty of room for motorcycles, trucks and trailers. I would highly recommend if you're staying with motorcycles, the parking lot is asphalt. Thank you for a quiet riding weekend get away location. I will absolutely be booking for my next family trip down to the Deals Gap/Smokey Mountains trip. Thanks, Josh. ”

“Had a wonderful short stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for two days. The hot tub was great and the bed was comfortable. Very close to the nantahala and not far outside of Bryson City. There is no stove, but a microwave and grill do the trick. There is a pool and game room on site, but we didn’t get a chance to use those. The price was great and the owner was quick to answer any questions. Would definitely stay here again! The gas fire pit was great too!”

“The house was great - very comfortable but very isolated. It was a treacherous walk down to the lake - we thought it would be closer but the path down there was not well maintained at all. I was too scared to actually get to the dock. The ramp to the dock was very steep and on some very big tires -that I guess support the dock. We thought there was a covered porch to sit out and have our breakfast watching the beautiful lake - unfortunately it was raining so we could not sit outside without……

“This lil cabin the woods was perfect!! 20 mi utes from the Tsali trail head, 10 minutes from the Nantahala Outdoor Center and the AT, and close to countless other places. Based on how clean it was, I thought I may have been the first person to stay there. It was very cozy and comfortable. Can’t wait to come back!!!”
