“This home is a unique and historic property that has been beautifully maintained. It is charming and has several outdoor areas to enjoy the waterfall and running water. Many sleeping areas for a large group and 2 living areas. The house is 3 levels, with narrow stairwells which could be an issue for the elderly or toddlers. It is a short drive to town and the beautiful Dry Falls are just a few miles away as well. We would highly recommend this property if visiting the Highlands! ”

“The property was amazing, spacious, quiet, had everything you need for a great vacation.Great location. Nearest grocery store and restaurants 13 minute drive to Franklin, NCSo many wonderful waterfalls nearby 30-40 minute drive.i highly recommend Dry falls, Rufus Falls and Tallulah fall. Smokey mountains Cherokee visiting center is 1 hour drive. Wonderful experience seeing Elk, old farmhouse buildings, clean bathrooms and gift shop. We had the best time and enjoyed the beautiful views out the……

“The house was absolutely beautiful, and we really appreciated the attention to the historic detail while it still felt modern and comfortable. I used the kitchen to cater my daughter's wedding (held at another property), and i had every piece of kitchen equipment i could have asked for. The house was immaculate, and my teenagers loved that it was walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. The host was terrific as well. She took the time to drop the key off before we arrived and left……

“The home is lovely and we enjoyed our visit to the Highlands area. Wifi information should be sent with the entrance code email. There was a roller off one of the dining room chairs and antlers off a skull plaque in bedroom when we arrived. Recommend covers over downstairs bathroom and bedroom windows and handrails on steps inside and outside for older people who rent. Hot water knob needs repair in small bathroom upstairs. Thank you fror a lovely stay.”

“My original booking ended up needing to be rescheduled due to some family business popping up, but the whole process was really smooth. The property is quiet, easy to access, and really well maintained. Just the perfect space for a person to disconnect and get back with nature. 10/10 will be coming back.**Note: my sedan could make it up the driveway; just make sure to give it some giddyup as you come up on the property so as not to slide the tires.”
