“The house is well-maintained and a great spacious landing pad for exploration around MDI. A boat rental and launch just a few doors down offers paddle boards and a place to swim. We used those along with the home’s kayaks. Felt like it was the perfect thing to stay close to Bar Harbor but not in it, and being on Long Pond (much warmer water than Acadia’s ocean beaches) was a huge bonus. The full kitchen was very useful. Would love to stay here again.”

“Great property and responsive host. Though the property was renovated several years ago, it feels brand new. Beautiful home, well stocked, and lots of thoughtful touches. Mrs. Meyers hand soap in the kitchen and bathrooms, dove soap for all the showers, extra towels, gift card at the local wine and cheese store. We had a little trouble with a leaking wall ac unit in one of the bedrooms. Fortunately the weather was lovely and we didn’t need to use the unit. Walking distance to multiple coffee……

“Nice new apartment upstairs of the garage. It’s a spacious single room (except the bathroom of course), nicely laid out with pleasant lighting through windows looking out towards the trees. The “kitchen” is minimal: a dorm-sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven, water kettle and coffee maker. Sufficient for our needs but not enough for an extended stay. Given that the rental is a one-room studio with laminate flooring, the pet fee seemed a bit steep, but the apartment itself was a good bargain……

“We had a great stay here. Jen was extremely communicative and the property was just as listed. We had a comfortable stay here as a family of 3 (2 adults and 1 child). Short walk to SWH center and close drive to most places in the park we wanted to visit. We really enjoyed our stay.”

“Very beautiful house and super clean. The street was a bit busy and it was tricky getting in and out with the traffic at times. The one shower was a bit tight and the initial wifi set up necessitated a 30 minute call with customer service. But overall, it was a nice property and experience.”

“The beds need upgrading. Limited resturants in the area with early closing times.Walmart about 45 mins away. Couple attractions close buy. If you want quiet, good area.”
