“It is a great place to stay. We love retro spaces and this is great! Lots of space, nice amenities and great views. Also a great outdoor area with a fire! Apparently they have a clientele that returns year after year because they all knew each other. We would go back any time. ”

“The house is well-maintained and a great spacious landing pad for exploration around MDI. A boat rental and launch just a few doors down offers paddle boards and a place to swim. We used those along with the home’s kayaks. Felt like it was the perfect thing to stay close to Bar Harbor but not in it, and being on Long Pond (much warmer water than Acadia’s ocean beaches) was a huge bonus. The full kitchen was very useful. Would love to stay here again.”

“Heavily misrepresented surrounded on three sides by construction equipments and various piles of refuse. Shed is divided in two, with construction porta potty as only restroom. Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full. Was forced to find a different room last minute because the host was completely non responsive to multiple Messages and attempts to reach them. Only plus is that……
