“Best described as charming and quiet. Very clean and well appointed. Half block walk to shops and restaurants. Staff is excellent. Walker was very helpful and recommended several fun things to do. Excellent breakfast. ”

“Staff was very friendly, rooms are clean, and a/c is cold. Location is a quick 5 min drive from the main harbor area. My car got attacked by seagulls when parked at the harbor and the receptionist kindly let me use a hose to wash off my car before the droppings dried. ”

“This is really a wonderful facility, and the staff/owner was very professional, gracious, and pleasant. The room was quite nice. The problem we had is that it is a little bit too far to walk to downtown, which is kind of important because the parking and downtown Bar Harbor is absolutely horrendous.”

“We stayed 4 nights at Chiltern Inn in July. What a gorgeous property! We felt like royalty on vacation. Our room was charming and cozy. All rooms in the house were beautifully decorated with elegant furniture, antiques, and delightful artworks. All amenities were clean and well taken care of. Our hosts, Joan and Dan were very kind and caring- a wonderful hot breakfast was served every morning, a complimentary wine was waiting the guests in afternoon; their knowledge of Bar Harbor and Acadia NP……
