“We were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in. The inn was very nicely appointed and very clean. Our room was the same. Though the building was almost two hundred years old, the ambience was there, but not the normal creaks and cracks you normally expect were not. I noticed that even the window coverings were nicely chosen and installed perfectly. We were impressed. We will return next trip to Bar Harbor. ”

“The hotel offers a Continental breakfast which is very convenient. There are restaurants on both sides of the hotel and across the street, so the lackof room service was not a big deal. The staff was both cordial and helpful. It is a not far from the center of town, but as I went in the office season I cannot say if that's a blessing or a curse. ”
