“The Sand Bar Cottage is the best place to stay in Bar Harbor! Arrive, unload, and stay parked while you walk and enjoy all that Bar Harbor & Acadia has to offer. Not worrying over finding parking was the greatest perk, but the entire property was beautiful with blooming flowers and the staff were all extremely helpful and hospitable. Our cottage was absolutely perfect. ”

“Good place to rest your head with parking (a luxury in Bar Harbor). Made two separate reservations because decided to add a night. No issues whatsoever. Lots of amenities-provided everything you need! Kitchen a plus. Good amount of space. ”

“This was a perfect place to explore, without the hubbub of being downtown. Every person who works here has a smiling face, the woman even called me to make sure I was ok because I hadn’t checked in by 7:45 PM (though the check-in is open till 10 PM). This made me smile after for a long day in the car, and started off my stay on a good foot. Breakfast was yummy, my room was perfect, a really great night sleep.
