“A great little older beach motel. Easy walk to the beach near the back of the property and restaurants within walking distance too. The village is small and mostly residential, yet there is a Food Lion and several restaurants and shops within a mile or so. ”

“I stayed in the Luxury Suite with private access to wellness deck, which I used! The suite was very high end, relaxing, and I had everything I needed. The internet was out (part of island life I suppose), and the contacts were communicative and available. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! ”

“The property should not have been rented with so many of the necessary amenities broken. I tried to work with property manager, but could not get resolution of the issues. If the owner was aware then shame on them.”

“Very peaceful and right on the beach! We could lay in bed and watch the sunrise every morning which was amazing. The jaccuzi was wonderful too! Make sure to not rent this house if you have any mobility issues. You have to walk over a sand dune to get to the house which is quite a workout getting all of your luggage in/out. Nothing anyone can help or change though, and it was lovely feeling so remote. We will definitely be renting this house again! Thank you!”

“This beautiful and thoughtfully decorated and furnished condo was the perfect space for our week in Rodanthe! You immediately sense that the owners want you to feel at home. The condo was clean, modern and very comfortable. “Frolic Inn was such an amazing place to stay. Conveniently located halfway between Kitty Hawk and Hatteras, we were able to visit Jockey’s Ridge, Wright Brothers Museum, several lighthouses and eat lots of excellent seafood. The beach was close and accessible. The boardwalk to the sound side was just across the street in a quiet residential area and we witnessed the most gorgeous sunsets while watching the kite surfers.
