“Hey everyone, we had a fantastic time in Salvo. I’m not here to compare real estate, but the house, although a bit dated and in need of a few minor fixes, was overall fantastic. The kitchen was well-equipped, the rooms were clean, and the hot tub was great. It was conveniently located between a couple of beach access points, making it an excellent value for the price. No complaints at all. I highly recommend checking this place out.Additionally, I spoke with the caretaker about the older reviews……

“Amazing sunsets and sound views from the back deck! The convince of the elevator for loading and unloading was a bonus since there are 3 floors. The house is beautiful and each room had its own bathroom which was great for our family which had 5 couples. The Beach access is a bit of a hike in the heat and not for individuals who can’t climb over sand dunes but there were plenty of beaches to drive to that had easier access. The pool more than made up for that and everyone really enjoyed it! The……

“I just spent a week at Besito del Mar and it was everything we hoped for and more. The house is huge and well thought-out six bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, with an elevator and ramp so that getting around is super easy. The kitchen has plenty of space and tools, there’s a game room downstairs, a hot tub up top with great ocean views, and a private heated pool that was a total hit (especially on cooler mornings). The walk over the dunes to the beach feels effortless, and having an outdoor shower……

“We needed handicap accessibility and this was the perfect home for us. From the drive-up, to the open layout and spacious bathroom, it was so great for our family. You’ll need your own trash bags and dish washing detergent though. We loved sitting on the edge of the dock to watch the gorgeous sunsets on the Sound.”

“We stayed for a week mid-May, family of 5. Property was as described and pictured. Classic beach/lake house vibe. Plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances. New towels. Great pool with plenty of loungers. There is a very short walk over thru the dunes to the beach, right behind the house, the beach is very quiet and clean, lots of wildlife, crabs, birds....We visited some other beaches further north and this one was much cleaner and much less crowded. Maybe one group of people every 300-400……
