When we came back, the lodge had boxed lunches that we had pre-ordered. Then dinner has way more special than you would imagine—apparently the main chef recently graduated from culinary school. The Wi-Fi signal is weak except in the main building, but that’s just all the better—this place lets you relax, reconnect with……

“There are many, many great things about this home in Cave Creek, but the view from the backyard and pool blows them all away. Phoenix is a huge bustling place and nearby, but that's not our pace. We rode horses each morning about fifteen minutes north of the house on some of the most inspiring trails I've ever seen. Afternoon by the pool reading and checking out the miles and miles of Saguaro and Sonoran desert was ideal. ”
