“Absolutely loved staying at Austin’s Chuckwagon Lodge for two nights while in Torrey visiting Capitol Reef NP. The room was very clean and very comfortable. You can sit outside your room on the walkway while watching people come and go. There is a general store that has lots of supplies you would need on a vacation. “Plenty of parking, gravel parking. Small unmanned motel but check-in process with room codes worked well. Very pleased with the room. Looked new. Very clean. Hot water and good water pressure. Beds were comfortable. Small refrigerator and microwave in room. Phone access to reach staff for any issues (which we didn’t need). Very quiet. There was an open room with ice and extra linens. Shaded picnic tables. Nice view of mountains from front and back of property. 😊”

“The lobby was decorated with nice old pictures and artifacts. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was clean. We stayed in a two bed room. The beds were really small. Bed linens were old and felt like nylon. The both quailed bed covers were broken.”

“I wish I could give this extra stars! SO cool! Road up was a little rough but totally worth it. Host was very friendly and kind. What a view and such a unique place. We enjoyed the music equipment and had a family karaoke night. The views through the windows were incredible. ”

“The home was well stocked with lots of space for play, cooking, and sleeping (though the room with one queen and two bunks actually has two bunks where one of them measures as a queen on the bottom). The pool table and toys for kids were really nice and we loved the views! It was a bit of a drive to Torrey and Capitol Reef National Park, but not a huge issue for us.
