Several restaurants in walking distance (the Mexican is CLOSED on Sundays), we enjoyed the Sports Bar down the road. The room was comfortable and quiet and well appointed. “Do not let an unmanned desk deter you from staying here. We made a simple call from the supplied house phone and a gentleman was to the front desk within just a couple of minutes. Check in went smooth at this family owned lodge/hotel, the room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable, cable TV worked well, had a small table with 2 chairs, plus it has a dorm fridge and microwave that also worked well. Housekeeping was pretty good and came and remade our beds and restocked our towels while we……
