“This is definitely a place a guy wouldn't mind staying but most women would not like it. It's clean, very old and needs some sprucing up. Very weathered. It's an old outside door hotel that's off the beaten path. Lots of restaurants around since they have no breakfast area. Motel currently getting outside work done on roof. ”

“Finding Art and Lodging was a bonus to a get-away stay in South Bend. A beautifully restored home, this space also is located in a neighborhood within walking distance of the Oliver Mansion, the IU Civil Rights heritage center and some fine restaurants. A small place (only 8 guests at a time), this home has been meticulously up-dated, is clean, with a comfortable bed and a room heater which was just right on a cool evening. “We had an easy stay. Close to campus, but a quiet neighborhood. Nicely upgraded kitchen and baths. New clean beds.Didn’t get a chance to utilize the basement, but would have been a great place to hang out with a group of friends.Super friendly host! This one will be on our list for future stays.”

“We were attending a wedding in the area and needed a place to stay with our large family. The Winona House and Tammy were wonderful! The house had something for everyone. The kids, all adults, hung out in the lounge, played pool and even got in a game of hoops. We enjoyed family time on the patio and beautiful views of the lake. Before the wedding we took photos in the backyard and by the gazebo. We loved our stay and we highly recommend.”
