“The front desk is pretty good and friendly! She spend a lot of time to let us know the history of the city and recommended which food is good or not. It is safe to walk around in the night. There is no people around the hotel and pretty close to the gas station, only spend 4 mins if you drive. ”

“We enjoyed all the amenities of the house. They have games, extra beds for sleeping, lots of seating for the family and a beautifully decorated house to enjoy. We advise anyone who needs space for entertainment, a quite neighborhood, and who loves high end decorations to book with GiGi's Retreat. We'll definitely book them again. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at The Whiskey Barrel. The view was beautiful! The house was well stocked with all our needs. We loved the game room with foos ball, enjoyed playing corn hole and the kayaking was enjoyed by all. The dock over the water was perfect! ”

“The house is very spacious and very well equipped, more so than most places we have stayed. We enjoyed the decor and would like to have known more about Dr. Woods and family (original owners). We would have liked to have a TV somewhere in the house and the blinds in the corner bedroom need repair or replacement. I would also suggest a little work in the back as there are uneven surfaces and we are four senior citizens. All in all , it is a very nice property with great pricing!”
