“What a lovely stay in Castagnola, near Lugano. We were there as a family -- 2 adults + 2 kids and we had a family suite. It was very clean and comfortable and the hotel staff was very kind and helpful! We only had one night in the area and were happy to find a quite place off the beaten path. Nice restaurant/bar and breakfast in the morning was included, which was fantastic. Access to the Olive Trail leading from Castagnola to Gandria was directly across the street -- it was gorgeous! “"Dependance" dell Angelo has two buildings. One is hotel the other is so called Dependance. The hotel and its restaurant are good. However, the Dependance building is just like a house. No elevator. You need to share bathroom/restroom with the others just like hostel. Also, no air conditioner.”

“Gute Lage, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen, sauber, essen sehr gut Die Zimmer sowie ihre Ausstattung haben ihre Zeit hinter sich. Es gibt sogar Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad, das habe ich ja schon lange nicht mehr gesehen und ist eigentlich auch bei den hiesigen Preisen inakzeptabel. Die Matratzen waren der Horror. Eine kleine Variation von Freigetränken auf dem Zimmer ist eine sehr nette Geste!”

“Als je per ongeluk de juiste afslag mist ben je aangewezen op een heel smalle en gevaarlijke bergweg. Bij het hotel geen parkeerplaats wel verder in het dorp. Verder uitstekend! Schoon eenvoudig maar goed ontbijt en goede douche en heerlijke pizza’s in het restaurant! Prachtig uitzicht ”
