“I understand this property is going through a renovation, but there are somethings that are still necessary. When we entered the room, there was some sort of a lapel pin on the floor near the bed and dental flosser on the floor by the bed, I didn't pick it up to see if it had been used. The staff was nice and quite helpful, but the pool looked gross. The breakfast was good. Overall, I'd stay again, but I am a little concerned about the cleaning procedures. ”

“This hotel was very clean and in a great location for enjoying Kerr Reservoir. The best part of this place was the service from the front desk staff. I had an issue with my reservation (my fault) and the person at the front desk totally took care of me without any problem. Definitely a place I will return to.”

“We love this property, it is so quiet and peaceful We love the cottage and the hiking/walking that is all on site. The house is warm and inviting, decorated with farmhouse chic style. This is our second time and we came more prepared to not have to leave at all during our stay. We love napping on the porch and star gazing by the fire pit. Nicole and family are amazing hosts, making sure we have everything we need and more. We hope to go back in the fall. ”

“Beds were comfy, but bathroom was terrible, faucet fell apart, water pressue was dismal. Tub was chipped and dated. ”

“When arrived note on door to call a number. Hotel looked deserted. Window by front door to room was opened when arriving and would not lock in place. Bathroom window was busted out with plastic coverings it. Bugs in bed, bedspreads covered in stains. Shower faucet ran the time we were there. TV reception was terrible and no remote. ”
