“We had such a great time at the property. The property itself is private and well stocked. We could do star gazing right at the never crowded swim pool when it’s new moon and no clouds. Beautiful! The owner’s beach club is few minutes drive and is fabulous! There’s a trail leading to a snorkeling site where the snorkeling boats stop (just a little further after the famous 15th south course hole), where menta rays can be spotted. We didn’t know until the last day and may try it next time!……

“Enjoyed our stay. The condo was well stocked for the beach. There was a lot of space for the ten of us. The kitchen was spacious. It is in a great location, close to the pool. We would definitely stay there again.”

We usually stay in the busier central areas, but I loved (actually preferred) how tucked-away Puako was —a true escape to peace and quiet. Kyla and James are the perfect hosts: immediately available if ever you have a question, and otherwise just the nicest people who make it feel like this awesome house is all yours. “This condo was so relaxing and peaceful!! The view was incredible from the golf course, seeing the shoreline wake up and glitter in the sun, while sitting on the shaded balcony as the golfers rolled out each morning. We played lots of pickleball (located conveniently across the road from the condo-30 second walk) along with the private pool. We also enjoyed using the driving range and eating at Johnny’s restaurant that is part of the golf club shop, and had amazing food and live music. Also……

“Expedia never supplied access to the property, even after multiple calls. Property manager was no where to be found. Expedia call center didn't help or find me and my guest another place to stay, even though they said the would. I found another place to stay on my own for double what I paid Expedia. Sadly, Expedia never offered to pay for it nor have they refunded my money for the original reservation they didn't fulfill. ”
