“The property is beautiful and fully stocked. The place is even cleaner and nicer in person than we expected from the posting. The AC is solid, which is nice considering how humid HI can be.Dave was also great, he gave us a tour on check in. He pointed out the lovely fruit-bearing and flowering plants in the yard.We were also close to a public beach access where we could watch the sunset and see fish, crabs, and honu (sea turtles) (see beach photos).Would absolutely come back!”

“Great stay with only very minor negative points. The Pots in the kitchen could be better.Therefore the yard is awesome. Propably the nicest i have seen so far. “Perfect beach cottage steps from a really cool public access park. You will absolutely love the Puako neighborhood. There are around 10 beach access points to explore nearby. The Mango cottage sits near the end of a dead end road (from a map it might look like the road keeps going but a few hundred yards past the house it’s closed to vehicles, you can bike/walk it). It’s only a short walk to a super cool petroglyph trail. Do it early or late for the best lighting. We would also see multiple……

“Hard to visualize it with the pictures. The layout is perfect for where it is. We saw a family wild pigs on the property. Love the town it’s in too. Definitely expect some bugs and geckos in the cabin (but very few in the bedroom itself). Dryer was out of gas but Marc was very responsive and found us a solution. ”

“The host was great so kind sharing local spots for hiking food photography of gorgeous sunsets and beautiful beach excursions nearby. Each morning We had a wonderful time waking up looking at Maui in the distance with Haleakala, towering from the blue Pacific Ocean. “We have stayed here before and once again it was perfect. This is true old time Hawaii at its best. We ate all the fresh fruit that was waiting for us. For me, sitting on front porch, feeling the trade wind and hearing the sound of the sugar cane leaves dancing in the wind is as close to heaven on earth as you can get.
