“OK. I don't typically write effusive reviews...or write many online ratings. When I do, it's because the service or product is exceptional (and in rare cases, abysmal). I was born and lived in the "Hamptons" as a boy and a teenager. I returned to show my family where I grew up. I last visited the area 35 years ago in this rare and beautiful place on the South Fork of Long Island. A flood of boyhood memories were augmented and complemented by the Hampton's Vacation Inn. “Our stay at Wainscott Woods Retreat was very comfortable. The location is convenient, the newly renovated room was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only suggestion is that there needs to be some clear signage at the entrance to the property. We arrived in daylight and still had a very hard time finding the place. Overall, a wonderful stay. Thank you!”

What else can we ask for. :) Though Expedia should do better as a 3rd party by communicating to customers specific conditions and amenities. “This was our third time staying here. The rooms are clean, the property is quiet, and the view is tranquil. The only way they could be better is getting more partnerships with local businesses and advertising them to guests before their stay (e.g. an email digest) to help guide those who book early.”

“Exactly as described. Not super high end but very clean and had all the functionality I needed. Wi-Fi was good, bed was comfortable, area is quiet, staff was lovely, room was big and spotless. And I got upgraded to a suite, which had a large and nice sitting area. ”

“We hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf bij The Three Ducks. De kamer was ruim, stijlvol en supercomfortabel – echt een plek om tot rust te komen. De omgeving is zalig rustig en straalt pure luxe uit. Er zijn wel een paar kleine dingen die het verblijf nog net iets vlotter hadden gemaakt. Zo is er geen permanentie bij het in- of uitchecken, wat als buitenlandse gasten soms wat onhandig is. Voor vragen moet je iemand opbellen, en dat voelt een beetje afstandelijk.
