“Great cabin up and away from everything. Easy drive to Asheville & Cherokee. Rented with some couple friends and it worked out perfectly with the bedrooms being spread out on different levels. Only thing I didn’t like is we ran out of time and didn’t get to use the fire pit, ha!”

“We absolutely loved the Birdsong Cottage. The backyard was probably our favorite thing. We loved drinking coffee and watching the birds at the feeders in the morning and our dog loved running around in the yard. We appreciated the up to date furnishings and the fact that you were dog friendly. I have been visiting Lake Junaluska for almost 60 years and my husband for 40 years, but this was the first time we stayed on this side of the lake. The home was perfect—three floors, with ‘private living space’ on each with sleeping rooms and bathrooms… it was perfect for my husband and me, our college-aged daughter and her friend, and one of our friends. Everyone had their own ‘space’ and was very comfortable… this home will be my first search for availability for future vacations. “What an amazing surprise. Great location steps from town yet you feel like you are far removed due to its beautiful wooded surroundings. Our room was in the corner with forest view, clean and tastefully updated. The fridge in the room was a plus, and I think it’s slightly larger than most hotel mini fridges. The lodge manager was great and we also met super nice amazing people staying there. I wish we stayed longer.. thank you! we hope to be back again soon. ”

“My family and I stayed here in Feb 2025. We have 4 kids from 18 month old to 14 years old and this place had entertainment AND safety for each. The stairs had child safety gates, there was everything we needed for our 18 month old, we could have left a lot at home! Playground, hottub, games, it was clean and homey. Highly recommend cor families with littles!”

“This rental was perfect for our family of five plus our sweet puppy! The listing was just as described. Plenty of space - beds were all super comfortable with USB chargers in all bedside tables. We loved having extra linens if needed (towels came in handy). Kitchen was well stocked with all dishes and utensils we could need during our stay. Great location - so close to Waynesville and Maggie Valley. Will visit again!”
