“Grear staff, clean and modern room. Sure the window was a bit noisy but nothing too worriesome. It was ok for me. I highly recommend this stay - excellent value, does exactly what it needs to and more.”

“2 night stay over Easter. In my opinion there are 3 things that are essential. A decent bed, shower and good breakfast. This establishment ticked all 3 boxes with ease.”

“Single women review - I stayed in the single room for 2 nights. It was very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of plug sockets for charging & straighteners etc, hangers and dressing table. The Clarence is exceptionally well-maintained. Immaculate infact. I normally stay in big hotels, and they could learn a thing or two from The Clarence. Everything was sparkling and a real credit to the owners. The room had a coffee machine but no kettle. I did have to Google how to get hot water out of it. I……

“Such a fabulous, traditional B&B in the perfect location. We had two nights in a seaview room and only wish we could've stayed longer! Definitely planning a return trip next year. Many thanks to Kez and Rod for their hospitality. ”
