“We were going to Martha's Vineyard for a wedding. We decided to come down a day early and stay in Falmouth. The Iris looked nice online and had an indoor pool (important to my wife). The staff was very friendly, the rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable, and the lobby was impressive. The pool made my wife very happy and gym had the equipment I needed. The biggest surprise was the free continental breakfast. We expected coffee, pastries, bagels, maybe yogurt and granola. In addition to that,……

“Location in the center of New Bedford was a plus. Free parking on the street after 9pm and all weekend. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Live music in the lobby upon arrival on Thursday night was a bonus.”

“Loved the room with a balcony outdoors. Spent the afternoon soaking up the sun and fresh air. The cheese, fruit, wine and music was a nice touch for the early evening hours. The location is walkable to the ferry, dining and shopping. Overall, a great stay.”

“View of the beach and ocean was excellent! Counter space in bathrooms was insufficient and too high. There was no laundry room or gym, so to call it a resort is reaching.”

“Jeanette was warm and welcoming and available when we needed info or assistance; she knows the area well. FWH was convenient to the WH Ferry located along the Shining Sea bike path, and had the amenities you'd expect at a nicer inn. Recommended!”

“I had a wonderful stay (and best night’s sleep ever!) in this beautiful inn. The whole accommodation, from my stunning King Deluxe Balcony Room to the guest lounge and courtyard, was perfect, and all the staff friendly and helpful. “We stayed in the 2-bedroom condo and it was lovely! Just the right amount of space for a family of 4. The condo was very clean and spacious. Property was conveniently located right across the road from the beach. My only complaint would be that perhaps the mattress (or mattress pad) could be replaced as it was a little dipped down in the middle)... but otherwise, loved this property!”
