“Great place on a pretty lake in the Berkshires”

“Hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The food at the hotel restaurants were good also for breakfast and the rooftop for drinks. ”

“Did not use any amenities to speak of. But it was the perfect place to spend the night. No issues. Lovely bedrooms and living area. If we had more time I would have read my book on the peaceful deck. Well stocked with toiletries and extra blankets/pillows. ”

But I wasn’t there for amenities, and I expect most guests weren’t. Clean room, easy parking, my dog was welcome. Busy road out front, but set back far night that I never heard any noise from there. “Our stay at The Dewey was fantastic! Everything was easy and efficient, and it was so close to both town and Tanglewood. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure in the 3rd floor shower was fantastic, and the room was well-appointed without being overly crowded. I also have to commend the owners for their attention to detail - after many, many years of traveling all over the world, this was the first time I have ever stayed in a hotel where the hairdryer came with a diffuser attachment.
