“Charming historic inn with incredibly good breakfast and dinner menu. Bakery also out of this world. Kids loved the library:game room and 24hr hot cocoa bar. Family owned- mother tubs inn and her children run the restaurant. Such a warm, lovely family. If you have trouble with stairs, may not be the best for you, but otherwise would stay again.”

“Stay was good, but one big negative is that if you are staying in mountain lodge, then you have to go all the way to other resort for checkin and drop off the keys. It took us 45 mins to get to other resort where main office is, just for 2 miles distance.. they should have someone at Mountain Lodge to allow people to check in ”

What a lovely place and a brisk 5-minute walk got me into town with a great bakery, running store and restaurants. I'll be back, so much more to do and see. Even got an afternoon of skiing in at Granite Gorge.”

And outdoors there are numerous trails and Adirondack chairs placed at scenic spots to take in the beauty of the land in front of you and to enjoy the star filled wide-open sky above at night, which we did and thoroughly enjoyed! “I decided to stay a bit out of town for a ski trip....and it was perfect. Just a 10 min ride down the hill to OKEMO and LUDLOW. It is absolutely beautiful and quiet...the sunsets and sunrises are amazing from the top of that hill. It is secluded and you really get a slice of VT. The unit is very large and spacious. It has everything you need for a short stay...for some, not having a microwave is an issue, but not for me. Toaster over, full stove, fridge, electric water kettle, coffee maker,……
