“Fabulous beach, river, ocean view; only steps away. Very good restaurant also. We watched the lobster being unloaded and a short time later enjoyed them dipped in butter. Would highly recommend.”

“My wife and I enjoyed our time at the resort. Property is quiet and well maintained. Views are breathtaking and pleasant. Staff were very friendly and pleasant and sought to make sure we had all we needed. Food was spot on! We tried as much as we could that was on the menu and couldn’t find anything we didn’t like and wouldn’t eat again. We jokingly asked each other “do you have anything you didn’t like or would change” and we couldn’t think of anything. Highly recommend and will return if……

“Lovely house with great wraparound porch and gorgeous plants & trees. The lilacs, which I love, were blooming which was absolutely delightful - so aromatic and beautiful! The bed was very comfy and the view of the town and water was joyful. There's a lovely art gallery, used bookstore, and plenty of dining options nearby. A very sweet couple manages the inn and they're excellent cooks - Captain Sawyer's breakfast was beyond delicious - one day it was just me and they served huevos rancheros……

“Linda, the owner, was gracious and very accommodating. The room we had was very sweet, and the adjourning bathroom was large and had everything you’d need. We woke up to a delicious breakfast of homemade blueberry muffins, fresh yogurt with cream and berries and a hard boiled egg. She made a lovely presentation and really delicious muffins! Highly recommend Clary Lake as a great place to stay in the area. ”

“GORGEOUS property, beautifully maintained and cozy rooms. If you’re a light sleeper I’d recommend a sleep mask and maybe some foam earplugs, but experiencing this place is well worth it. Jersey takes care to include and highlight local businesses, and very clearly loves what he does. We will absolutely be staying here again. ”

“This home is such a gem! A historic home that is updated with many modern conveniences. We’ve been to MANY AirB&B’s and this home was probably the best equipped we’ve been in! Convenient to Boothbay and lots of downeast inlets and harbors. Very quiet, but close to groceries, food and farm stands. Our only regret was not staying longer- we would have loved to grill and use the fire pit!”
