“We were in town for a nearby event, and booked a room at the charming Springside Inn. We love historical properties, and I could tell right away that this location is beloved by many. They host weddings (my career) and had a bridal shower, a live dinner and dance show, and were preparing for Easter brunch when we checked out. We had a tranquil and private room upstairs with the cutest vintage decor, and a massive soaking bathtub. The view of the terrace and forest behind the building was nice……

“The room was clean, and I mean surgical clean. I am one of those crazy people that check a room with a flashlight, and I couldn't find a speck of dust or a water spot in the bathroom. Staff is friendly, courteous and accommodating. Great little motel. There are a couple of community fire pits, free marshmallows to make smores, a couple of hacky sack games. They also have a dog pen for the pups. There are 2 State Parks (Robert H Treman and Buttermilk), which I was visiting were a few minutes'……

“It's actually two houses. Both are really cool and the remodeling work is excellent. There isn't much in Groton, but you aren't to far from things. ”
