“I would have expected that, being a Hilton hotel, the staff would be more proficient in English. Communication was extremely difficult, as it tends to be throughout China. However, I did expect that at least one staff member would have a sufficient level of English to convey basic ideas. I would suggest that, since they receive guests from all over the world—and English is the most widely spoken language after Chinese—they consider having a greater number of staff members with stronger English……

“There is no doubt that the apartments are in a very nice area. They are fairly nice to come home to after a day out exploring. On the downside, we stayed there in the mid range apartments on our way to England for six days.
