“Black Eagle Lodge was perfect for our family get together. There were 16 of us 8 adults and 8 kids. We went hiking in the morning and then back to the lodge to swim. The pool area had chase lounges in the pool area and on the sun deck. The kids loved the pool area. We liked having a door lock to the pool area when we were done for peace of mind. The kitchen was stocked with 2 crockpots and many dishes and glasses. We wish we brought small plastic bowls for snacks for the kids. Overall we had a……

“Very cozy little space. Well maintained”

“Upon arrival we were so blown away by the beauty of the cabin we decided to inquire and book an extra night as 2 nights just would not be enough time. We spent our first night soaking in each other and soaking in the hot tub. Day 2 we visited the sauna pods and booked a professional photography session which lead to a proposal! Then we enjoyed a unique romantic dinner at Glenlaurel (it’s a must try). Our last day was filled with hiking, visiting the Hocking hills winery, deer watching, sitting……

“The common area was very dirty, grills filthy, kitchen full of mice turds, suggest storing everything in plastic totes a lids.. pots and pans very gross, clean the whole place. The cabin was nice but outdoor chairs filthy .. had to use common area to cook , no kitchen in cabin ”
