“Very historical hotel, a bit spooky on hallway and many strange/noisy sounds in the room. The floor was bumpy. I forgot a power charger in the hotel, but the hotel refused to help me got it back in the same day and just said it’s not found. No matter how I will never come back again. ”

“Beautiful hotel. All amenities like outdoor fire pit, pool, basketball court etc were in great working condition. Staff was amazing - super friendly ”

“It's a wonderful old house. Despite there being a number of people staying there, it was quite quiet and we rarely heard others moving about. Our room was just off the dining area, where there was free coffee, tea, water, English muffins, jam, and cinnamon raisin bread whenever someone wanted them, yet we could barely hear people when they were there enjoying their morning breakfast.”

“Slept with the windows open listening to the water going over the dam, wish we had more time to hang out and explore. We will be back! ”

“The room was very nice, well appointed with antiques and little thoughtful touches. The bathroom sink support was an old cast iron sewing machine stand - clever :). The host, Naomi, was a delight to talk with over breakfast, very dedicated to her job!”

“What is not to love about being welcomed into Richard and Ruth’s home. They are wonderful hosts and spent hours talking to us both during our stay. The house is an amazing building and learning about its history was wonderful. We walked into the tiny town and got some dinner, lovely options available. We can not wait to visit again and will be recommending anyone travelling around this area should certainly book a stay.”

“Perfect for a quiet, weekend getaway. We went to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and brought our dog, Ollie. Ollie's a very timid and nervous guy, but he felt very comfortable here. We went during the winter, but would be interested in returning in the summer because there seems to be a lot of outdoor activities (white water rafting, fishing, hiking). ”

“Wonderful property! Check-in was effortless, and communication was excellent. The property had the southern charm my family and I desired, with ample space. The kids and our dog Rider had a ball. All the amenities you could think of, just in case you may have forgotten something. The quiet and serene nature of the property was beautiful, and I am so happy we chose to stay here. It is a historic house with nice modern updates and a country appeal. Thank you for making our weekend pleasant……
