“Upon arrival we were so blown away by the beauty of the cabin we decided to inquire and book an extra night as 2 nights just would not be enough time. We spent our first night soaking in each other and soaking in the hot tub. Day 2 we visited the sauna pods and booked a professional photography session which lead to a proposal! “Black Eagle Lodge was perfect for our family get together. There were 16 of us 8 adults and 8 kids. We went hiking in the morning and then back to the lodge to swim. The pool area had chase lounges in the pool area and on the sun deck. The kids loved the pool area. We liked having a door lock to the pool area when we were done for peace of mind. “Our group was in town to see our favorite band play at a nearby music festival. It was wonderful to have a quiet place to relax afterwards and air conditioner during the hot part of the day. It was amazing to soak in the hot tub after a long day on our feet. The nearby town was also lovely although we barely got to enjoy it. ”

“The cabin was lovely. We were very pleased. Beds were comfortable. It met our needs well. All was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, we left halfway through our stay due to threats from a hostile neighbor. All because we walked our 8 lb dog through the front edge of his yard. There are no sidewalks.
