“We were greeted with chocolate chip cookies and a glass of wine and seltzer, while the property owners fed a herd of deer out in front of an amazingly beautiful canyon scape. The was more deer feed at the cabin, which we sprinkled in the meadow out front, and had lots of deer visitors which we enjoyed watching. We had questions about how to get to a favorite peach stand, which our hosts answered quite expertly with detailed directions. Breakfast was supreme, with farm fresh eggs, biscuit dough,……

“This is such an amazing little getaway! We loved our time in Villa #2. It it was very large and nice and so comfortable. The balcony/patio was wonderful. This is going to sound ridiculous but the linens were amazing and smelled so fresh and the bed was divine! The only thing this room needs is some comfy chairs inside. If you are truly wanting a small town/non commercialized Texas getaway, this is it. Blanco is a charming little town with great food and the most beautiful River!”
