“The hotel is kind of remote from the Main street of Portree; on the other hand, it’s very quiet and peaceful so that the visitors can fully enjoy the beauty of nature in Isle Skye. The room we stay is pretty simple but it’s clean and tidy. Most important of all, we have the great view of lake. Cloe, the front desk staff, shows her hospitality to make our stay even better.”

“Great location. Mayanne is a really helpful host. Had breakfast in our room, overlooking the loch. The location was quiet and plenty of parking ”

“Stuart and Janet were wonderful hosts. Delicious homemade treats upon arrival. Graciously let us borrow trekking poles for hiking and even dried our soaked boots afterwards. Picturesque location on the Isle of Skye.”

“Staff and service was great, breakfast very good. Hotel,room very clean. Bed, linens comfortable, shower great water pressure and lots of hot water. But property is shabby,needs upkeep,improvements. Harbor area underwhelming. Not worth the price for a very mediocre waterfront area. Next time will stay farther out for better quality. ”

“Sehr tolles kleines Haus. Würde es jeder Zeit wieder buchen. Hatten zwar kleine Mängel, habe diese aber dem Besitzer direkt mitgeteilt. Es zu finden, war nicht so einfach, man muss schon etwas weiter fahren als das Restaurant und dann kommen links lauter Schilder und da fährt man dann nach oben. Tolle Aussicht mit einer beruhigenden Stille. Kauft davor gut ein, da vor Ort keine Geschäfte sind. Kaffeeaufbereiter, Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank mit Eisfach , Toaster und co. alles was man benötigt ……
