“Fantastic stay. Beautiful room with sea view and more. From the time we arrived until we left, we were received as old friends. The highlight was when Rob took us on his private boat for a river cruise. Thanks Marianne & Rob.”

“I arrived early afternoon and was checked in immediately. I had forgotten to load my South Africa map on to my TomTom GPS before leaving the UK and the lady of the house helped me do this on her own computer for which I will be eternally grateful. room was nice with balcony with table and chairs and river view. Bathroom had a tub - wonderful- and there were plenty of electrical points to charge phone etc. I walked to the nearby Quay Street at dusk to the recommended brew pub where I had a couple……

“Our wonderful ranger David made our trip! He ensured that we saw lots of wonderful animals and was full of enthusiam — we could not have been happier! The main lodge and rooms are of a high standard and beautifully decorated, but the management and staff are in need of training. Everything is very slow.....s”

“Downtown area, a bit rundown, but wide street and Hotel is situated close to Bars and restaurants, there is a bottle shop next door and so could be a sound issue (no double glazing). Air-conditioning was excellent, one of the best I have had outside of USA.Hotel is a bit dated, but staff are friendly and helpful, only bed issue was it was 2 singles pushed together but made up as 2 singles, so a bit cramped.”
