“Nice place. Looked just like the pictures. Good size rooms. Breakfast and breakfast area was also very good. Hotel is just by the old quarters of Stone town. Almost all staff was very friendly (just one younger lady in reception that for some reason was not so nice to our daughter). Good price.”

“We had a lovely stay at Kena beach hotel for 13 nights. Rooms was very spacious. Beds were comfortable and equipped with moskito net. Every evening the rooms are sprayed with bug spray. Little terasse outside with a rack to dry swimwear or other small things. All staff was super friendly and nice. Pool is covered with roof so it was not getting too hot, the sea was always very warm. There is also sun loungers and sofas both in sun and shade. We decided to take all-inclusive, which was fine, but……

“A beautiful hotel, with lovely friendly happy staff, who always gave a huge morning welcome at breakfast time. Delicious healthy breakfast and the best coffee, I've tasted in a long time, I had to go back for another. I felt very safe and it's in a great location to get to/from the ferry and to walk around to the shops and restaurants. ”

Special thanks to the waiter Daniel who was really making a difference. We tried yoga and the yoga instructor Anna was really good, Stayed in the ocean view bungalow. The only thing which I recommend is a new madras as it was a bit used. ”
