“Perched halfway up a mountain the hotel has amazing views over the tea plantations, forested hills and mountains reaching into the horizon. “You have to remember that this is a very remote location. On basis of that the food is very good. The setting is amazing so peaceful. The hotel does not sell alcohol, this is not very clear on the description above, so has led to some negative reviews. The food is a buffet which changes each day. There is also a menu for ordering other food instead (which is where most of the non-indian food is). The rooms are very nice. We did not choose the hot tub option. We got a large balcony amongst……

“Hotel itself is up a very steep hill and a bit far from Munnar, only suitable if you have a driver. The staff are what make this hotel and the views. The hotel itself is quite noisy as the rooms are around an atrium and not we’ll sound proof. We were unfortunate to stay when a large Indian family were also visiting and they were extremely noisy going between rooms and shouting in the corridor/atrium. The staff moved our room and helped as best they could.”

“It was a worst experience staying in Lumino, I was charged extra than the money I paid online. But paying that also it was a worst experience. Bed springs where gone, bathroom locks where broken, bathroom door was half broken, tv didn’t work, pathetic smell, worst staff behaviour and their body language, 6*3 bathroom size worst to the core, overall very terrible experience ”

“It’s a lovely location away from the busy areas. Staff have excellent service. You can not walk anywhere outside the property. Breakfast was good. We did not get to use the infinity pool - but views from there are spectacular. ”

“This hotel is excellent in terms or several things. First its location. Its very near to some of the tourist attractions. Second it offers many onsite facilities like Gym, swimming pool, two restaurants, bonfire everyday on terrace with musical disco lights, the view of sunset as well as sunrise is awesome from the terrace. Its at a height so it offers a valley view from one side of its rooms and its worth the money. Parking is available on site. The space is a little small but at the same time……
