“Belles Bird was a great room at The Kendall! The bed is comfy and the AC is cold, which is welcomed in Texas! The room is not spacious but that is to be expected in a historic building. There are high ceilings, which make the room feel bigger than it is. The shower had great water pressure. There are two large mirrors in the bathroom making it convenient for a couple to get ready for their Boerne adventures. Would definitely stay at The Kendall and in this room again.”

“Room was clean and layout was very well thought out. Air conditioner dos a great job keeping cool whielnstaying quiet. Staff was very friendly , breakfast had nice healthy options. Kitchenware items were clean when arrived and made the stay much nicer though there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. A quick drive to locations nearby including Six Flags Fiesta Texas make this one of my family's favorite locations to stay in San Antonio. Thank you.”

“We were greeted with chocolate chip cookies and a glass of wine and seltzer, while the property owners fed a herd of deer out in front of an amazingly beautiful canyon scape. The was more deer feed at the cabin, which we sprinkled in the meadow out front, and had lots of deer visitors which we enjoyed watching. We had questions about how to get to a favorite peach stand, which our hosts answered quite expertly with detailed directions. Breakfast was supreme, with farm fresh eggs, biscuit dough,……

“The cabin was beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like are the 2 windows on top don’t have curtains to cover them up but other then that they were perfect. Don’t understand the “mandatory fee” for the rental.”

“Talk about being in the middle of no where, Ricks cabin is that. The cabin is situated 6 miles out of Comfort situated in the hills about 1800 feet above sea level. Getting to the cabin can be challenging but follow Ricks directions to the tee and you will be ok. On the way out we made a mistake and followed GPS directions, took a wrong turn and ended up driving down a really rough unpaved road leading to a really spooky looking cabin. The previous rave reviews are spot on with their commentary……
