“We stay here every year on our way to Northern Michigan and the staff are excellent! The rooms are very clean and the bed is incredibly comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling.”

“We have never stayed here before but we will again! The room was clean and spacious and quiet. However, we went in April. 🤗 During the summer I'm sure it's a different story. Tons of shops and dining within walking distance (even right below us) There was a boardwalk that went around the Inn that you could stand at and watch the harbor. The beach was close, as was the lighthouse. It was a perfect little getaway for us!!”

“This place seemed smaller than listed. I think the description had it at 2,300 square feet or so. I didn't measure it but it would really surprise me if it's that big. The inside of the house was clean but has quite a bit of what I consider to be antique clutter. If you like that type of thing, you'll probably feel right at home here. “This property is a GREAT location and has some incredible history. It was originally built as a boarding house back in 1880ish time frame, and has been preserved beautifully. The new owners have put a lot of work to preserving the manor, and is still a work in progress(as any 150 year old building would be), but the charm, experience, friendliness, and willingness to accommodate our needs during our stay was a 10 out of 10. I look forward to going back.”

“My family of four stayed and really enjoyed ourselves. The pool and hot tub was a plus and the location and walkable proximity to town and water was a bonus. The kitchen was well stocked allowing us to prep breakfast and stop in for lunch in between in town activities. The suggested restaurants we tried (Tello, Clementines and Taste) were all delicious! “We had an excellent experience at this property. The tents are clean and included VERY comfy bed sheets and just the right amount of decoration. We enjoyed the campfires at night, especially the one in the back of the property to avoid the group of kids that took over the front one. The chef is wonderful. Our breakfasts were filled with fresh blueberries and the best eggs I've ever had! Irene (the owner),her daughter and dogs were super inviting and personable. Regarding the value of this……

“This was by far the cleanest B&B with the friendliest, most helpful staff I have ever visited! They didn't miss the mark on any detail in the decor, food and overall atmosphere. It was quaint, romantic and located steps from the beach and some of the best restaurants/bars. Would highly recommend for a romantic getaway!!”
