“5 college friends stayed here for a weekend and we had an excellent time. Plenty of bedroom space. Very clean. (My friends were pleased that I hooked us up with such a nice place!) Loved having a full kitchen with everything we'd need. I will definitely look into staying there on my next trip to Cortland!”

“Our family stayed here to attend a college graduation nearby. The lake view and vibe were both amazing and peaceful. We were greeted by our hosts, they were very friendly and helpful. The cottage had everything , my sons enjoyed the canoe and paddle boards provided too. The 2nd night, the entire area lost power, we lost water too, that put a damper on the trip..”

“They supposedly didn’t know we were coming, there was a mouse in the toilet, the floors had not been swept, they had a bunch of food and in the freezer and fridge, liquor had been out, no wifi or service, the bed sheets were dirty, no curtains on any of the windows, the doors and ALL windows were unlocked when we got there but the didn’t know we were coming? ”

“Absolute nightmare with BATS flying inside the property at night causing us to panic and lock ourselves in the bedroom, which was the only room with a door. We were 4 adults and we had to huddle on one queen bed all night while the bats were flying all over the house! Even on check in, there were dirty wet towels on the floor, trash in the bins, beds were slept in! No cleaning was done after the last guests checked out. On contacting the host, the host promised to resolve the situation but did……

“The property we stayed at was so clean and homey! The owner is top notch to deal with. If i come to that area again, i know where i want to go back!”

“Wonderful old school inn.. very comfortable feeling. Room was very clean with an updated bathroom.. had cocktails in the pub.. what a great place to unwind.. had dinner in the dining room.. excellent prime rib, best I’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be back. ”
