“Upon first getting to the hotel I thought the area wouldn't be the best. It was decent enough and we didn't have any issues. The lady for the night shift check-in very nice and checked me in fast. Overall the loby was in decent shape. Upon entering room 200 it was clean; however, it could use a light remodel in the next few years coming. “Very eclectic and unique property. Owner was very thoughtful, friendly, & welcoming. Stayed in the top floor in the Steampunk themed room. Wonderful breakfast, hospitality, and many resources available to us in the main house. Issues were generally minor- hot water took a long time to kick in, no record from Hotels.com of our reservation but fortunately had available rooms.
