“The artwork was so beautiful! The bed was very comfortable. Very quiet on the first floor. We enjoyed seeing the gorgeous ballroom. The work put into restoring this building was amazing. Even stopped by the Jay Davis studio and bought some of his pieces. Monroe is very lucky to have a local artist such as Jay who contributed to the beauty of this hotel and the local zoo!”

“The weather was great, the boat was awesome! Very comfortable and homey. I might not suggest it if you have very small children but as I have teenagers the steep steps didn’t bother us. It was stocked above and beyond and she made us feel so welcome! She even left treats for my boys and us! We loved our stay here!! We even did a little fishing on the dock!”
