“Accommodating staff for a person needing help with mobility. Excellent linens and room and historic setting, especially for visitors with USMA connections. If possible, avoid the restaurant. Poor food and harried service. ”

“I arrived in town earlier than expected. Unlike other hotels who give you an excuse of how you have to pay an additional fee to check in early, the staff here took my number and let me know that when they had a room ready they would call. I went and got lunch and did some shopping and true to their promise I got a call letting me know my room was ready. Rooms was spotless. Hotel was quiet, bed was comfortable, and staff was incredibly friendly. Will definitely stay here again. ”

“Liked the easy access to Westchester Airport, Mario Cuomo Bridge, the adjacent grocery store for snacks, toiletries, supplies, etc. Liked that it is pet friendly and has walkable areas for pets. In-room complimentary water, coffee, tea and small frig. Breakfast menu is extremely expensive at $20/pp. Bathroom receptacle was not emptied one day; washcloths not provided in bathroom one day. ”

“It was a relief from my last experience. The breakfast lady probably needed help but all in all it was a really good staff and everyone was friendly and fixed issues right away”

“Check-in was great. The room was clean. Housekeeping went overboard on carpet cleaner, we had to open a window to get in some fresh air. We were also disappointed the sauna was not working. ”

“Surprisingly great stay for a 2 day hike in the Harriman State park! Check in was a breeze, the lobby was so open and inviting. The room was perfect, and ad a dinner at the bar which was delicious!
