It would have been a great place for me to get some rest and it inspired me as an author to write. I was also able to walk to the beach. I could have ridden one of the provided bikes. Lovely serene place. Also close to many eclectic shops and restaurants ”

“Beautiful property! View was awesome, nice beach with chairs. The room could use some updating, stove top was broken so our morning coffee was delayed as the burner was very slow to heat the water for our French press we travel with. The view from our room was peaceful however the barbecue area was in direct view and there was always garbage piled up and was not pleasant to see. Overall great stay! ”

The entire property was spotless — especially our room, which was beautifully maintained and so comfortable. I had one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The location is perfect too, just a short walk to everything in town. I couldn’t recommend The Menhaden more. 10/10 experience. Thank you……

“Carol’s B&B was absolutely perfect! Carol was the perfect B&B host! Her communication was fantastic even prior to our arrival! The home was beautiful and immaculately clean! It had such charm and detail to every area. The home is perfectly situated in town where you can walk to a few stores and places to eat. Also a short drive away from wonderful restaurant and stores! The breakfast was fantastic! Carol took great care in making sure everyone was satisfied! She even make a little something……
